What Time Is Check-In at Giles Norman Townhouse?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. If you plan to arrive later than 6:00 PM, please let us know in advance by emailing info@gilesnorman.com, and we’ll make sure alternative arrangements are in place for you.
Can I Check-In Early or Check-Out Late?
We understand flexibility is important, but we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. However, if you have a specific request, please contact us at info@gilesnorman.com, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.
In the event that your room is not ready earlier than 3PM, we will be more than happy to store your baggage in the gallery on the ground floor from 10:00AM on the day of your check in.

While we do not offer breakfast on-site, we are located in the gourmet capital of Ireland, Kinsale, where you’ll find a wide variety of cafes and restaurants serving delicious, locally sourced breakfasts. Is Parking Available at Giles Norman Townhouse?
We do not have allocated parking, but there is a free town car park directly in front of the property (subject to availability), with overnight parking allowed. Other parking options include; Pay-and-display street parking and a nearby pay-and-display car park (just a 5-minute walk away), both of which allow for overnight parking. A pay-and-display ticket is required between 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

How Do I Get from Cork International Airport to Kinsale?
There are a couple of convenient options for getting from Cork International Airport to Kinsale:
Bus: A direct bus service runs every hour from Bus Éireann in Cork City, from 07:30 AM to 10:25 PM, bringing you straight to Kinsale. The bus from Kinsale to Cork leaves Kinsale Town Car Park at 6:30AM and runs until 7:10PM
Taxi: We can help arrange a taxi for you, providing a more direct and personal service.
Is There an Elevator in Giles Norman Townhouse?
Our beautiful, historic townhouse has been thoughtfully renovated with all the modern comforts you’d expect. Please note, however, that there is no elevator, and all guestrooms are located on the upper levels. If you have any mobility concerns, kindly let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Is Giles Norman Townhouse an Adult-Only Property?
Yes, as a luxury, adult-only property in the heart of Kinsale. To preserve the quietness and tranquility that our guests seek, bookings are accepted for children over 12 years only.
Does My Room Have a Hair Dryer or an Iron?
Yes, every room is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. While there are no irons in the rooms, we’re happy to provide irons and ironing boards upon request. Simply visit the gallery reception between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and we’ll gladly assist you.
Does My Room Have a Fridge?
The Studio Suite and Kinsale Room are equipped with a mini fridge. If you’re staying in another room and need to store something, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to make arrangements for you.
Does My Room Have a View of Kinsale Harbour?
All of our rooms, except for the West Cork room, offer stunning views of Kinsale Harbour. Wake up to the beautiful scenery of this picturesque town and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
