No, pets are not allowed.

Are children allowed?

No, we are an adult-only property. 

Does the Giles Norman Townhouse serve breakfast? 

We do not serve breakfast, however, being in the gourmet capital of Ireland, we are in walking distance of many great cafés that serve delicious breakfast. We have put together our own personal guidebook in each room, outlining our favourite spots in Kinsale for breakfast.

Does the Giles Norman Townhouse have parking?

With regards to parking, the Giles Norman Townhouse does not have allocated parking, however, there is a free car park immediately outside our property (subject to availability) during the months of October - April, which also allows for overnight parking. Additionally, there are other free-parking areas in Kinsale, which we would be more than happy to direct you to. Alternatively, there is pay-and-display street parking on our street and a nearby pay-and-display car park (less than 5-minutes walk from our property); both options allow for overnight parking and require a pay-and-display ticket between the hours of 10.30am and 6.00pm. What time is check-in?

Between 15.00 - 18.00. If you expect to arrive after 18.00, please inform us at info@gilesnorman.com and we will make alternative arrangements for you.

Is it possible to check in early OR check out late?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee an early check in or a late check out, however if you contact us at info@gilesnorman.com with your request, we can make a note of it, and do our best to accommodate you.

How can I get from Cork International Airport to Kinsale?

There is a bus from Cork Airport to Kinsale on the hour, every hour, from 06:25 - 22:25 with Bus Éireann. Or alternatively there is the option of a taxi, and we are happy to assist with booking a taxi for you. 

Does my room have a hair dryer?

Yes

Does my room have an iron?

No, but irons / ironing boards are available upon request from the gallery reception between 10.00am - 6.00pm. 

Is there a fridge in my room?

Both the Studio and the Ireland Suite have mini fridges. If you are staying in any of our other rooms and need something stored in a fridge, please let us know and we can arrange this.

Does my room have a view?

All our rooms with the exception of the West Cork room have a view of the Kinsale harbour.

What credit cards does the Giles Norman Townhouse accept?

MasterCard and VISA.

Is there an elevator in the Townhouse?

Our beautiful historic townhouse, while newly renovated with all the modern conveniences that you would expect, has no elevator. All our guest rooms are located on the upper levels of the townhouse; for this reason, if you have mobility issues, please let us know.
